I’m a true health generalist—seriously, I’ve written about everything from face transplants to "female anatomy push-ups"—but I've gone especially deep on vaping, mental health, parenthood decision-making, and post-infectious illness.

My work has been published by the New York Times, the Atlantic, BBC, Wired, Bon Appetit, KFF Health News, Women's Health, New Scientist, and many other outlets. Before freelancing full-time, I was a health correspondent at TIME magazine and health editor at Boston magazine.
